This coffee is grown and harvested in the Cerrado region in Brazil – a region which makes up nearly 23% of the entire country.

The Cerrado's climate is typical of the wetter savanna regions of the world, with a semi-humid tropical climate. The Cerrado is limited to two dominant seasons throughout the year: Wet and Dry. Due to its climate, an additional process is known in the area, the Cerrado Natural process, during which the cherries are left on the coffee trees for a longer time.
