Aapicuc comes from Paradigma Coffee which highlights the most interesting coffees from Guatemala.
This wonderful coffee comes from the Huehuetenango region, and more specifically the San Antonio Huista and Todos Santos area.
Aapicuc is a non-profit civil association that seeks to improve living conditions and livelihoods. Its aim is to respect social differences with various notions of welbeing and strengthening local production. The association has over 100 coffee producer members and manages more than 300 hectares. It has been duly certified with organic coffee certification and fair trade certification, committed to exceptional harvests. This is high-altitude coffee, located between 1,200 and 2,000 meters above sea level.
They aim to maintain fair trade with better prices for producer members, their families, and future generations, as well as for their employees. Thanks to the certifications they have obtained, this is becoming a reality, providing them with equitable commerce, which is of utmost importance to the members. This encourages them to leave a legacy of producers, providing security to female producer members and contributing to gender equity. This also alows each member to improve their economic situation by providing stability, while always upholding the values insti led in their homes for an inclusive society.
