Colombia. Caturra, Typica. Washed.
Every bean has a story
Cordillera Oriental comes from Colombia. Colombia has been producing great coffee beans since the early part of the 19th century. During the last century, coffee has become Colombia's main export. The main coffee growing regions in Colombia are: Antioquia, Risaralda, Norte de Santander, Tolima, Valle del Cauca, Quindío, Caldas and Bucaramanga, where this particular coffee originates from. The Bucaramanga region, in the department of Santander, has extraordinary climate conditions with the ideal rainfall for coffee cultivation.
Cordillera Oriental is sourced from family owned farms located within the municipality of Bucaramanga in the fertile department of Santander, Colombia. On average, each producer cultivates their coffee on less than 5 acres of land. Coffee producers use their own micro-mill to process harvested cherries, which allows for meticulous care in de-pulping, fermenting, and drying the coffee.
One of the most distinctive attributes of a good Colombian coffee bean is its body. It is usually rich and delicious, with a pleasant aftertaste that lingers. The flavor of the Cordillera Oriental coffee is both full and complex, but with good balance. The Typica variety, which is 90% of this coffee's content, gives out particular characteristics - a touch of citrus and orange, with notes of caramel and dark cacao .
Indulge in this Colombian classic, a single-origin nectar, smooth, rich and truly delicious. A taste experience like no other!
